Born in Venice in 1992, he spent his childhood between Morocco and Italy. From a sensitivity to human lines and to the earthy forms of Africa emerges a practice centred on the body and figurative modelling.
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice under Professor Giuseppe La Bruna, he has produced public sculptures, monuments and works exhibited in Italy, Croatia, Russia and the United States.
— Massimiliano Melluso"Working with earth for many years, I have realised that there is no material more sincere and humble."
"I call it earth because clay is too reductive a term for a material that is the mother of everything around us. In Latin humus means earth — hence the parallel with homo, man."
